The Groovy Smoothie

Groovy Smoothie

Smoothie Shop

Seattle, Washington

Carly Shay (former)

The Groovy Smoothie is a popular smoothie store that Carly, Kayla, Sam, and Freddie and many other characters regularly stop by. Although mentioned often in the first season, the characters are never shown in the Groovy Smoothie until the second season. It is a parody of Jamba Juice.

According to iWanna Stay with Spencer and iAm Your Biggest Fan, it is located across the street from Bushwell Plaza, Freddie and Carly's apartment building in Seattle.

The store is decorated with bright neon colors and sells various products besides smoothies, like bagels and pickles on sticks. They also serve burgers, fries and various other foods. One of the most-known employees seen working there is T-Bo, who is also one of the managers of the shop.

In many episodes that feature the Groovy Smoothie, T-Bo serves a food item on a stick. Among them are pickles, donuts, and tacos (much to the surprise of Carly, who fails when she attempts to put the taco on the stick).

In iGot A Hot Room, Carly gets a job there, while Spencer and friends re-build her room.

In iSam's Mom, there are at least two people who don't know that the Groovy Smoothie sells smoothies, in spite of the name. In the same episode, The Groovy Smoothie was robbed by the thief known as The Shadow Hammer.

It was shown in iQ that T-Bo sleeps upstairs of the Groovy Smoothie, until a City Health Inspector said T-Bo was unable to sleep there.

In iSpeed Date, lots of teenage boys came to the Groovy Smoothie for the "speed dating."
